Farmer & Worker Owned Cooperative

There are three ways to get our produce

This is the best way for us to plan with farmers how much produce we will need each season. We have different frequency options and delivery and pick up locations to choose from.

FARMER OWNED, EQUITY FOCUSED, AND COMMITTED TO REGENERATIVE PRACTICES

Support our Farm Hub in City Heights and pitch in to help grow our equity food distribution collaboratives which are making more fresh and local food accessible to low-income San Diego neighborhoods.

A foodshed is the geography and infrastructure of a local food system. A “foodshed” is cultivated according to the cultures, beliefs, and practices of the people who steward the land. So, what’s going on in your foodshed?

What is a “foodshed”

We work with over 25 farms every growing season.

  • Solidarity Farm

Striving to create a stronger, healthier, more food secure future. We practice "ethical farming" balancing the needs of humans, animals, plants and nature

  • JR Organics

Their organic growing practices include the finest fertilizers, compost, beneficial insects and proper soil management.

  • Sage Hill Ranch Gardens

Protecting the soil and working with nature, instead of against it, Sage Hill maintains a high yield per square foot with outstanding quality.

  • Grow Eco Farm

Delivering fresh produce grown in ways that restore depleted soil and create habitat for threatened species.

Phil Noble, Sage Mountain Farm

"Our customers have really encouraged us to step up our game on our soil building practices--we've responded---and we couldn't be happier with the results on our farm."
